Vorchan problem
OK this is a new one on me. I have created a mission during which
3 Vorchans jump in with some Sentris. The Sentris are fine they go
off and do their thing as does one of the Vorchans. The other 2
just slow down and stop. The only order they will follow is
waypoint-once. Then they just sit there again. I have tried
forming them into a wing - no joy. Deleting them and starting
again - nope. Anyone have any ideas? I'm stumped.
Is there a distance issue for attack orders? ie. if something is
over, say, 10 klicks away attack orders get ignored?
Well any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Probably not a Vorchan problem....more likely a general FRED bug or user error. I've seen these things in infinite combinations...it happens, usually because something was either setup by you, or for whatever reason, ticked as being true by FRED.

In the event editor, have you tried (clear goals) then issue new orders, using waypoints, you may have to do this..

Ice, you're probably right. Although I did try changing the ship
type in FRED to Hyperions and one of them started doing what
it was supposed to. The other one didn't. When I changed them
back to Vorchans again the one that started working kept working
still no joy with the other one though.
Whitelight, good idea with the clear goals. I think I may be able
to workaround the problem using that. Cheers.

OK I think I have most of the bugs ironed out now. So if anyone wants to give it a try here you go.

Is there anywhere we can upload missions to? Or, failing that,
is there any chance of a sticky in which people could post links
to their missions?

I had a problem with a Vorchan not firing, so I changed the team to neutral, then back again and that seemed to fix it.
Very odd
