Fred2 Questions?

Hi. I know im annoying but thats how i am.

First:

My question is how do i make a ship jump out after a wing (or more) have docked to it. I tried with the events editor when the ship has jumped in i "never allow warp". But how can i made that the ship can jump out when all fighters have docked? I tried with "allow warp". But it don't happed. What have i do to make this happen? And especially what happens when one (or more) of the ships which should dock are being destroyed?

Second:

How can i change the ingame videos such like "enemy appeard" cause it sucks when you are a minbari pilot in battle with humans and a human general (or so) talks to you. And how can i change the supply ship? Same problem as above.

Third:

I would like to do a mission which begins in Hyperspace and at a point of that mission you jump to normal space and the mission goes on. Is that possible? And when yes, How?

Know my bad english. Isn't my mother language so sorry. Hope the core of what i mean is clear.

1) You're making it too complicated. Simple...if Delta Wing has depated (and is set to depart in EAS Juno launch bay) the jump.

So in the EAS Juno's departing events do it like this.

has-departed-delay
--- 10
--- Delta

So 10 seconds after Delta wing has departed, Juno leaves.

2) Under Mission Specs, click Disable Built in Messages (this data could have been found in the FRED tutorial and reference guide that comes with FS2)

3) You'd need to setup a campaign, and then setup a red-alert system. Its best you experimented before trying this.

Thanks. So my mind was way to complicated.I thought i must do seperate events for every ship in "delta". When it's destroyed or has docked but thats an old problem of mine i think in to complicated ways

But can i change the "Built in Messages" to Minbari for example.

I wanted to do an in mission Jump to normal space. As example "In Hyperspace a Sharlin opens a jumpgate through which you and your wing jump's too. Soo that you can see the tunnel from hyperspace to normalspace. Is that possible? Or is it a thing which will be likely possible trough the tpbopen project?

Nope...and probably not any time soon.

Well the solution that Icefire gave will only come true if some of Delta wing manage to dock. If they are all destroyed the capship will quite happily sit there till the end of time.
Depending on the plotline of your mission you may wish to use the departed-or-destroyed SEXP.
