TAP - Competition
The Apocalypse Project (TAP) is holding a competition for submitted to story/plotline to be converted into single missions or campaigns for inclusion with the release of The Apocalypse Project.
TAP is a homeworld modification for FS 2, the aim being to let you play from a pilots perspective rather than that of fleet commander.
Successful submissions will chosen by the TAP staff for inclusion with TAP's release.
Rules are as follows...
================
* Write a plot line for a mission or set of missions. This can be a story, script or simple bulleted lines, but do try to be descriptive of the situation you are trying to create please.
* The plot must be based on and in the Homeworld Universe.
* Time period must be set from the events of Homeworld to the events of Homeworld: Cataclysm or shortly after. No hundreds of years before or after.
* You may only use the main races of the first 2 Homeworld games (Homeworld and Homeworld: Cataclysm). This means you can use: Kushan, Taidan, Bentusi, Turanic Raiders, Kadesh and Beast. You may not use: Vaygr, Taimat/T-Mat.
* You may have as many entries as you want, but each one must be different, not the same idea over and over again.
* And finally, please try to be realistic on scripting. While we appreciate your efforts of creating a 70 mission plot, this is a bit extreme. Try to keep the number under five missions. But if you really feel the need to go over then thatÂ’s fine, and who knows; if it's good enough we might actually do a whole campaign around it.
Entries should be submitted preferably in text format (plain or rich) or html. Any additional material you want to add is fine, just put the lot into a zip file.
Submit entries to elorran@ukonline.co.uk
Submitted scripts/plots will be collectively viewed and judged by the staff and chosen for 'TAPification'
