My first R2 mission

Here you go, my first R2 mission is now complete. Race Towards Death, is a strictly story mission moreso even a mood mission, meaning, that your influence on the actual outcome is minimal. Kinda like FS2 finale. Become an escort of the Narn cruiser Na'Steth as they race towards Narn, hoping to die with their brethren. Mission takes place during the events of The Long Twilight Struggle.

I'm already working on a more gameplay oriented mission now. I might even spawn off a campaign from the next one.

Just finished it. Nice crisp mission with full command briefing, briefing, etc.

My missions are barebone- Command briefing for story, mission, thats it. No debriefing, no briefing (Dunno how, and no point when its just for myself!).

Man Narn fighters are sluggish. But good work

Background is better than mine so far, but could be a little more smoothed together.

Yep. What Strider said pretty much sums it up. The only thing that seems to bug me however, is that the Narn cruiser that jumped in didn't really make itself known. It just came in and blew up...You maybe could make like a 10 second delay somehow before it rams the Centuri cruiser, which will give us enough time to turn our sluggish fighters around to see the fireworks Besides that, excellent work!

And have the wing of ships that gos to fight right off the bat all die then we will have even more reasion to kill em. Then have the cruiser say it is there to help because your ship sent a destres call, and then they get battered then raming speed then BOOOM! I t would make the mission even more dramatic.

We should have a mission/campaign idea form.

WOW!

this is the best response i've seen to a fan made mission since EAS Janus. I will definitely try this.
