fs2 probs, would like some help plz

Well i aint played fs2 in ages, installed it just for tbp. However, i'm getting some strange errors, when i start the game it complains firstly about a mouse pointer and then about 2 many fonts. I can get past these errors and get into fs2 but there is no mouse and there is no text. Oh btw i haven't installed tbp yet this is just fs2 normally, so i dont know if tbp would work, figured i should fix this first.

I dont know but mabye it is something to do with winxp? and yes i have the updates and have patched fs2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Could be a screwy install... Have you tried reinstalling FS2?

reinstallin now, and i have a perfectly good reason for not playing it, i've been doing combat infantrymans course for the british army......6 months.......i got 2 months leave before i join my regiment, so i need to kill some time.
