Something like that...
What a had in mind was that the GTVA managed to built the sol gate and when they send a ship(Hecate for example) it malfunctions and send them to the b5 universe and coming out of the Io JumpGate...
Of course if it is **** then there is no reason for me to try...

They[gtva] would come out of the gate, see the Drakh, Shadows, Vorlons, first ones, and hell, even the humans and piss themselves.

Of course, we must remember that Humans in FS2 have mastered aritificial gravity without simulating it via spinning.

thats ok, we don't need to kick the GTVA's ass to get gravity, we can just ask the minbari.

no not really, they just got fatter beams and more variety.

(have you ever noticed that it takes 10-20 beam shots for a Hecate to take something down. A Vorlon Star Dreaghdnought could do it in one. So could a Shadow Battlecrab.)

All the same it is possible to mix the babylon mod with the origional fs2. I managed to do it with release 1 with little difficulty. From there i did little with it but it should be very possible to do it with release 2. It also shouldn't be that hard for the GTVA to land themselvs in the B5 universe, just a messed up portal with bad subspace harmonics or something like that.

The number of beams that FS ships need to be destroyed just shows how tough their armor can be...
In FS1 the Harbringer bomb had destrucitve power in about 3 Gigatons(Someone correct me if i'm wrong) and it takes seberal volleys to take down a destroyer, while the Black star the minbari flagship was destroyed by 2 2 megaton bombs and a shadow battlecrab was taken out by a 500 megaton bomb.
Also in FS2 the harbinger was replaced by the helios which is more powerfull and warships of the GTA carry beams which give more damage than bombs...

Quite easy to do,just extract the ship and weapon tbl files and then add then to the tbp table files. You would probably have to use open source because you'll exceed the maximum table limits..Really the sathanas would stand really any chance against B5 ships

i know im new to the forum but heres an idea going out on a limb with the jump node idea. The aquitane suffers a malfunction jumping through the node and finds itself in the middle of a battle between an earth alliance fleet and a shadow force. since i would imagine that both ships operate on the same frequency the aquitane overhears the enemy about to finish off the destroyers imediatly they launch fighters and move in to engage the enemy. I mean the ea destroyers are big but the hecitate makes the orion class look freakin tiny. so i bet the shadows arent gonna know what to make, and the story begins.

ok mabey but several problems,
1. the FS2 ships are big, clunkey, and non maneuverable.
2. If thier armor is that thick they don't have room for a crew inside those ships.
(i say this because yeah even with that much armor there is still space inside, but all that space is used up by generators for those ****in huge beams. It takes an enourmous amount of power to maintain a beam thats 10 meters across.)
3. their guns take WAY the hell to long to reload.

you see, a single Battlecrab could litterally dance in circle around these things, never get hit, and at the same ime decimate a fleet of them. Look at the weapons a crab carries.

1 wad of 60 or so Spitfires
1 Slicer beam that has been seen ripping chuncks out of EVERYTHING in B5 and cutting the rest in half
1 jump-point disruptor. It takes alot of power to calapse a jump point that another ship is ptting a ****load of power into to keep it open.

and thats just the Shadow stuff. A Star Dreadnought would get hurt but it would still blow away a fleet of FS2 ships.

Thick armor does not always mean strong, besides, GTVA warships have a shield system too. And those reactors for them huge beams, hey, we're talking bout (what was it again?) 24th?25th? Century technology.

if you would take into count the point that a single FIGHTER can fit on a High powr Fission reactor think of a cap that is 20 times bigger then the tiny fighter thingie

1)Fs2 ships could be big and clunky but in B5, Capships also don't have that much manuverability(exept for the White Star, light cruisers, fighters and several FO Ships)...
2)Just because the armor is tough that doesn't means that it must be very thick when technology advances it allows for decrease in size while giving more performance.
An example of this is comparing modern computers with the Eniac and similar computers...
3)True they take longer to reload but to compensate, the beams have more power...
quote:

Yes but they can also dance around all of the YR ships and it still doesn't prevent it from being it why does it has to be different for the GTA ships, the battlecrab could dodge the smaller weapons but a hit from a main beam would destroy it while the battlecrabs would take a long time to burn through the armor...

A hecate has around 150 combat spacecraft.

But it still doesn't have the power to penetrate FS armor as easily...

1 computers and armor aint compareable. Windows won't stop a bullet (or a virus for that matter) and a sheet of titanium can't do math.

2 i don't mean just beams. and have you seen how innacureate those things are? i would pay money to see a battlecrab let itself get hit by one.

3 see two

4 a batlecrab can generate more

5 Bull**** it slices ships like it were goin' through butter

6 i am refering to the power of that weapon, if it can collapse a jump point it can colapse a ship.

The two universes aren't "compatible"...

But even if they were, two words would stop this nonsense...

Lucifer and Santhanas!!!!

P.S.

Not necessarily, if they could do that, why would they need beam weapons?!?!? The younger races and even the vorlons wouldn't stand a chance...

Any "this universe's ships could beat this universe's ships" discussion is always pointless.
The Enterprise could blow up the death star from a great distance away with one guided photon torpedo.
The Goa'uld could easily blow away the Minbari.
Tron drives a motorcycle better than Sheridan.
