Now that we have R2.....

When is R3 gonna be done?

Just messing with you.
To the TBP team, you guys rule! I've been waiting for this release for a while now, we finally have it and it's more than I expected. You would think that this isn't a mod for a game but a game made by pros. You guys are awsome! Keep it up!

I can't wait until they finish up the Warlock and Primus, as well as B5 itself.

I think B5, the Whitestar and the Primus are the only models that I really think are necessary to satisfy me completely at the moment. There are more that enough ships for now though to do a wide variety of missions/campaigns.

You mean that you'd be satisfied without the first one's ships?

He he, although I couldn't do a Shadow War campaign/mission or a Drakh campaign/mission, with B5, the Whitestar and the Primus (in addition to the huge number of ships available at the moment) I could make a mission to cover almost any other show seen in B5 (especially Civil War stuff where Whitestars and B5 are quite important).

Will we actually ever do the 'First Ones' not the Vorlons or Shadows but the others?

We havn't really seen what their capable of, unless someone here plays B5 Wars...

Actually I was refering to the Shadow and Vorlon ships as well when I said First Ones.

TBP is great now but it won't be complete until it has them (and B5 of course!)

Babylon 5 itself is now, obviously, the most important addition I'm looking forward to. After that, maybe Primus to complement the centauri ships, enabling narn/centauri campaigns (oh well, they could use those centauri and narn bases too, and some spices like the blockade mines). First Ones, other than shadows and vorlons, are pretty much insignificant, as interesting as they might be. You can't use them very much anyway! I'd estimate that Shadows are a higher priority than the vorlon ships, since they were seen in action far more often... vorlons tended to remain passive (at least seemingly).

I would agree with that but I'd also say that I think the shadow spitfire and shadow scout are actually more important than the battlecrab.
Why? Cause we can use the spitfire already, we can have them in missions against the younger races without having to worry about play balance.
The scout will require the gunship AI to work but that shouldn't be a huge stretch but the battlecrab pretty as it is will be hard to put into any missions unless we also have telepaths jamming them (which makes them far easier to destroy).

That said I would love to see the battlecrab appear in a mission

You say that like battlecrab can't show up unless it's going to be killed...
You can have it to slice some big ships and then go away, if is the plot. Why would it care for some dumbass soiling his flightsuit in a starfury?
No worries about balance

I think the battlecrab will be sufficiently powerful to tear an Omega apart in a couple of hits...but you can always script the missions to ensure that things go according to plan.

If you want a telepath jamming it...just disable teh craft and knock out its beams for a bit and let the target ship fire. It'd be like working with a Sathanas juggernaught...you know its going to kill, you know its strong, so you script and balance its appearance.

Well I have B5Wars (including Ships of the Fleet 1 and the Rules Compendium) which covers everything seen in the show until the end of Season 4 (i.e. no Bluestar, Drakh or Victory Class Destroyer). I'm sure others do too but if they want any of the .pdf files of the ships then I can help
