I have just tried to access TBP's missions (both the campaign and the individual missions) after a fresh install of the 1.4 open and 2.0 TBP files and been unable to start the missions as a window comes up saying that, "A Freespace 2 CD has not been found, please insert a Freespace 2 CD"

Now I don't have my Freespace 2 CDs with me (university student living away) and the mission will not load without them. Do the team have any ideas as to what is going on or whether I have to have the CDs to be able to play it?

Dooh...You actualy need a CD inside to play..try a No-CD from somewhere..if there is any..

Found out the problem - I wasn't using the fs2_open file, I was using the fs2 file - d'oh!

Works now and I'm very happy

The base version was designed to work with the source code release...again, not official and therefore not supported by our FAQ.
