the hathesput is FS2 but still kicks ass! One time i put BFreds on the tips of the head and OMG its fire arcs ruled! It owned the whole battlefield!

Heavy Assault: Ares (with 6 gunpoints, heavy armor & shields, and high power output, I can live with the lower speed and poor maneuverability)

Bomber: Sekhmet (though I've never actually tried it)

Cruiser: Aeolus (small, fast, lottsa flak and decent beams)

Corvette: Deimos

Destroyer: Ravana

Terran: Orion or A(however it's spelt. You know the 'new' Terran cruiser in Fs2).

Fighter = Valkyrie, or Erynis (God, I can't remeber how to spell that!)
Shivan = The one that looks like a spider... (OK, it's ben 2 years since I played...
Vasudan = Horus, maybe Toth

Terran Cruiser = Orion
Vasudan Cruiser = Hestaphut
Shivan Cruiser = Cain

Misc = Deimos.

Ah, what the hell. I'll play along.

Fighter: Myrmidon. I can do anything in it.
Bomber: Sekhmet. Same armor and bomb capacity as the Ursa, but with much better handling. And those quad Proms will eat up fighters.
Cruiser: Lilith. I love/hate those things. They've got more firepower than a corvette on that one beam, and those two cluster bombs are a PAIN.
Corvette: Deimos. 'Nuff said.
Destroyer: Orion, Orion... we love you so, Orion...

Say, why don't we have everyone name their favorite mods in these categories? I'll go first!

Fighter: NTF Ragnarok.
Bomber: SB Yali.
Cruiser: GTC Ticonderoga.
Corvette: SCv Bryn.
Destroyer: GTDn Archangel.
