What will be the focus of the campaign in release 2? Its been a while since ive been here.

There isn't a campaign... (They are leaving that up to the community from what I hear...)

There's going to be single missions, but no campaign this time around. It was decided that a campaign of the depth that was wanted couldn't be created with the ships available at this time. The campaign planned for R2 requires Babylon 5 and the Whitestar among several others.

i havent touched the open source stuff that i hear is gonna be

a part of R2.....what FRED changes will there be when we are

making our own missions?

here is one thing i wish fs2 had:

ship commands...........fighters/bombers have a choice called

"attack any ship"......but the other classes do not. This would

make larger battles easier , rather than having several cap

ships looking at each other just outta weapons range. I

fooled around with the ships table one day and decided to

"reclassify" some ships just to see what would happen. You

have gotta see the colossus do a fighter death roll!

I'll be there with Tale of EAS Janus, but you'll have to wait it for a while. I'm only waiting R2, then all the hell brokes lose on my computer

Honour of Omega is probably ready sooner than EAS Janus, it has more personel working on it. We just are waiting Abersoch (marvelous) story and TBP R2.

And I'm not only one standing on night of TBP fan FREDers, Propeth and various others are there to hold the fort
