SCP glow mapping

for thouse who did not see it in the VW main I have made [url=http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/blackwater/glowmaptest.zip]glow maping[/url] available for all ships in the game, that zip contains a relese build (performa a little better) a debug build (give debug info back) a warp model (it's a requirement of the new exe) and a hole slew of glow maps for most ships you'll also need this
[url=http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/blackwater/more_glowmaps.zip]new map pack[/url] to get nearly every ship in game glowing like they should be,

note: this is a buggy version and I keep getting assertion failures and stuff but it's cool to just look at some ships in the tech room

there are probly a handfull of maps that I screwed up (didn't put the -glow at the end of them or left in 16 million color mode) feel free to make the ones I didn't do, but chekc to see that I realy forgot about them first

no, but I'd sugest downloading [url=http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/blackwater/fs2glowmap.zip]this one[/url] becase it has several bug fixes
and if you havn't already [url=http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/blackwater/glowmap_pack.zip]here[/url] is the map pack I fixed several thing but I did it this way so you wouldn't have to redownload all the textures everythime I made an update.

Get rid of the extra red glow (put it back to normal) and you have a great Fenris.

Run the FS2_Open exe and head to the Tech Room. Play a mission and gasp in awe and wonder!!

BTW, Bob, I have updated, added, and cleaned up lots of the glow maps. On the whole they look nicer than yours. Want me to mail them to you so you can have a look?
