new nebulas :) (pic)

im not doing much at the moment, but ive started producing one new nebula a day for a new selection of background :

jpg sucks the detail out a bit but if your on low bandwidth you might want to just look at that...

paint shop pro 7 to composite
a few layers made in photoshop (fractal clouds)
a few layers from infinately textures (unnecessary)
a bit of noise in the layers

As a matter of interest, have you considered using some of the public domain Hubble images? - I know they used some in the show itself.

Mind you - these ones of yours look pretty fine as it is.

As a matter of interest, have you considered using some of the public domain Hubble images? - I know they used some in the show itself.

Grey Area - i have included 1 of the eagle nebula (its the one at the beginning of "into the fire" - the gas column picture that drew a lot of gasps and shred light on how stars were formed) - its already in the current release :





you cant link individual real nebulas together like you can generic fake ones so its not really possible, and they tend to look crap anyway because they look blurry and are incredibily hard to touch up...hope that answers your question
