Merging ships tables

I am wondering if it is possible to merge Babylon Project ships with the FS2 ships and some mods from web into one table? If so, how? I tried to put them into a table and put all models, maps, etc etc files into right place but it seems to not work...

did you extract FS2 ships from the root .VP file? There also happens to be a maximum ship number and a maximum table size.

That'd be way too much stuff. You have to be far more careful to copy a few things from one to another. Largely...the TBP ships are going to loose against FS2's vessels because of missiles. On the gun side, TBP fighters can really whallop a FS2 ship in most circumstances...but again FS2 ships can take the beating.

You just have to compare Freespace 2 to the TV!

In B5 even the smallest fighter can take out a Primus or Omega on his own without bombs (if he survives long enaugh).
If FS2 you need bombs (or Trebs).
And FS2 fighters have shields, which make them superior to B5 fighters.

BTW will the Black Omega 'Fury be a stealth fighter like the Shivans at the start of FS1? --> You couldn't target them, but you saw them on radar.
And will the shadowships be the same?

Minbari ships, Shadow ships and all "stealth" vessels will be targetable by default. If you can target Nial, then you can also target Black Omega ships.

It is up to mission designer to make it so that "stealth" ships will be only targetable at certain distance, but only if he/she so wishes.

Gameplay first.

Trust me...not being able to track those Black Omega wonders is like not being blind in a shark pool with sharks that have laser beams attached to their heads.
