Black Omega Starfury
Greets everyone! Just thought I might pop this up on the forum, for anyone who is interested. I'm working on a campaign for a gaming group I have locally, and we needed a few Black Omega fighters as part of the storyline... didn't see one up here, so I made this. It's just a map hack of the TBP Release 1 Aurora, and as such, there's a minor glitch, being the ventral side of the upper wings. When I get more time, I may fix that. The table entry provided doesn't make it a very well-balanced ship, but that's what I needed for my purposes. Anywho, here ya go. Enjoy.
ZIP - Black Omega Starfury (POF, Textures, Table Entry)

(PS -- By no means do I pretend this is an official TBP ship, nor do I mean to step on any toes by popping this up here... just something to play with while we eagerly await R2 -- this means you, Lady Rose)
(PPS -- I have a pretty extensive background doing modelling, as well as UV texturing, sound editing, storywriting, and FREDDING... and am also between "work" projects at the moment... so if anyone on the team has anything to throw my way...)

We got a black omega Starfury already, it will be included on R2
But yours looks good as well...
Hey Patchwerk, are you very busy? if not we could use your skills, we already admited Sigma957 last week but a few more would be in order. TBP has already known a significant boost with his entrance, yours could make it possible a miracle by christmas perhaps...who knows? (no promisses)

Looks great! I also textured Aurora Starfury to a Black Omega a long ago when the galaxy was young, but I think yours is better. By the way, you could add two more gun mounts to it (if you find a spot for them) for the Loadout image included in the release 1 has those, which suggests that it should have those. Adding the gun mounts shouldn't be too difficult with the .pof editor (whatever it's name was), though I managed to screw up in it and set em too close to the original ones.

Indeed really good looking Black Omega you have there...
I had a BO earlier, but its nothing to compared to this. Need to test it and give it all team FREDers (unless they haven't got it yet).
