not about blackwater operations

this messages is for agethron or kellan, since i have a problem with derelict and i couldn't contact them from that website(neither of their e-mail adresses work). i know that this isn't the way you useally conatct someone on the web,but hey, how else am i suppost to find them. so here is the originall message:

hello,

i have a question about derelict, your freespace 2 campaign, i found it on the web and tried to download it, but when i ran the .exe he wouldn't install. he reported: freespace installed at ERROR. i treid running it from the freespace directory, but wouldn't work neither. i did download the .99 prerelase, and i liked the story very much. my question is: could you please place the campaign on the web as a zipfile? i would like that very much.
thank you in advance,

kasper loopstra,

ps. i'm sorry for the bad english, it`s not my native language

You should try to reinstall your FS2. There could be a hitchup in the registry and derelict installer can't find FS2.

I too have FS2 installed on D: so it shouldn't matter. Although I haven't been playing Derelict for long time.

Ok, I had another problem, I think, with Derelict. Was there voices in it? Because if there was, I never heard any.

reinstall

i already tried re-installing fs2, and still nothing, so that ain't the problem either. perhaps it would be nice if someone posted al the files as a zip somewhere??? because most other campaigns/mods work fine.

Derelict sound

I don't think they ever finished the sound for Derelict sadly

I downloaded every single mission for Derelict before it became a campaign, and I still have the WAV files for them somewhere, but it's only for the first few missions sadly.

I have to say, the voices add a lot to the game - 'Alpha 2' cracks me up all the time, but all the voice acting is very well done!

Derelict is still one of the best campaigns out there, esp. if you have some of the voice files like me (Shame it's only for the first few missions tho' - the game feels to quiet when you get to the missions with them )

Babylon 5 also had some good voice acting, but the need to normalise the volume levels for the waves IMHO (And I'd recommend trying to get people that sound at least a bit like their character!)

If you need the entire zip, I have it somewhere on my harddrive...

The voices yes were well done, but should have been included in the entire file (or so at least what I have).

Question derelict as ZIP

could someone please post the derelcit campaign somewhere as a zip or rar file. since the installer didn't work,i can only play the demo! it`s a real pity because i like the story so much. i don't know how big the file is, but i've got cable, so as long as you can upload it,i can download it. so i'd be very gratefull if someone could give me a url to the zip file.

thanks in advance,

kasperl
