RF2 for PC?
Is RF2 going to be released for PC. It seems like a large userbase is being abandoned in favor of the console crowd.

Its doubtful...PC users expect horrific bugs to be fixed rather then just have workarounds. And well...If you've played RF online youd know the **wonderful** job V did in fixing bugs...
Personally I doubt they want to have to actually support their product and the same goes for THQ. THQ wants to release a game and then start a new one. Screw testing..Dont beleive me check out some of the MAJOR flaws left in some of the console games THQ released. One that immediatly comes to mind is Smackdown 3. Check out the support for that game and see the major flaws left in it. I always go to THQ support page because its funny to see teh bugs they never bothered to fix or the HUGE bugs they never found if they tested it...

I think it's more THQ than V
as you say all THQ games have horific suport, and only the V games made under THQ do,
not to mention that fact that suport is a publisher's decision not a developer's decision

LikeI said its mostly THQ's end. But honestly V's half cocked solutions were no help either. Esp when the RF 1.2 patch broke some things that were fixed in 1.1. And well didnt fix whut it was supposed to. Well okay it fixed A hole..To obad there was more then a few others(BTW 4 those that dont know the communtity told them to lock the Vpp's in v1.2 before it came out but they didnt)

One day, Croc will play a different game, and he will discover that ALL games have bugs and all games have support issues.

haha, I swear, "RF2 on PC?" is around as often as "Will there be an FS3?" thread in the old days (e.g. last year )
As far as now: No. No PC version has been announced, the only console it has been announced for is Playstation 2.
If a PC port is to occur, it will almost assuredly happen after the Playstation 2 version comes out.
Note, I stress if. For now, your best assumption is "no, there won't be" but don't cast it in stone - cast it in .... hardened play-dough or something. It could change, but is unlikely to.

I will cast it in gold, make it an altar, and worship it every day.

If I get it I'd burn an archival copy then put the original in a nice frame behind an inch of plexiglass

id have to agree. i play RF religiously and if RF2 isnt released on the PC it seems kinda like were being abandoned, despite the fact that almost 3 times the game playing age group owns computers as compared to those that own ps2s. release it on PC or suck my ass

That's a fact? Show me some numbers. Show me some real numbers, because the PS2 version of RF outsold the PC version by one hell of a wide margin. So I'm finding your fact just a bit hard to believe.

But the large userbase is only relevent if your product is actually good. From the looks of things, RF2 is going to be the same bland juvenile frag-fest that RF1 was.
With games like DX2 and Thief 3 coming, I just can't bring myself to care about RF2.

What's with wanting more blood/gore in games?
I find SoF2 at it's max way too gorey, it doesn't enhance the gaming experiance to cut someone's face off.
