I mean, I just flew some missions on it (after re-installing Fs2 about 3 time to get it right, not to mention the long nights it took me to download it) and all I can say is:

I am amazed beyond belief. I am just shocked at just how good a game can really devoted people help put up. MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN A LOT OF COMMERCIAL GAMES I COULD MENTION

ONLY ONE THING I craved. A way to speak to the game engine (XP wise) in order to have it command your fellow pilots into targets or defense.

What campaigns would you recommend?

What tutorials are there? (I have some, but I might have missed some more along the way)

My principal experience has been Star Fleet Command. I had compeleted Freespace, but have kept out of Fs2 ( and really have no good explanation why I did. Well, that is one mistake I will not do again.)

I can't promise anything, but at the very least I can beta for you. I am a great learner and I am willing to try.

That would require a major source code edit... I don't see that happeneing any time soon... As for campaigns, download Lady rose's campaign (forgotten its name ).

There is about 4 campaigns that I know and 3 of 'em are fan made, Tale of EAS Janus (mine, Pera and Abersoch), Movements in mist (Prophet, can get from archives.volitionwatch.com) and a Raider campaign (I cant remember creators name, sorry).

And 4th is of course grand TBP main campaign.

And what comes tutorials, I'm only one who has made TBP FRED tutorial and then there is Black Sheeps voice tutorial and mayby others that I'm not aware.

Thanks for all the input. Will try my hand at finding and playing all of the missions listed. I have downloaded EA Janus but I simply can't play the campaign. It is not listed in the Campaign list and I can't play it!

I am doing something stupid and I know it, but I don't know what that stupid thing is, or what I should be doing.

So here I am with a "Tale of Janus.VP" in both freespace2/ and data/ AND missions/ folder, but nowhere to be seen on the Campaigns list.

If there is a URL for the other campaigns, I would be grateful if it was posted.

Wasn't it the opposite, a FreeSpace2 mod for Homeworld?
If yes, I don't know it too, because on [URL=http://www.strategyplanet.com/homeworld/]this Site[/URL] the Link to it, doesn't work anymore (at least when I last tryed it).
