my graphics are screwed :(

Hi. I need help. For some reason the graphics (on summoner 1) are screwed. I cant see walls or objects or textures except on occasions. Buildings appear to float, i can see the sewers beneath me when walking in the city etv etc. Ive tried changing the settings and compataability many times. I know that this game doesnt work well with windows XP, but is there a way for me to improve the graphics to a playable standard? Or do I just have to wait until a new patch that incorporates greater XP compatability is released?

Hmmm, the only time I've seen that effect is when I accidently teleported into the middle of a wall.....

I should try re-installing the game - but make a copy of your savegame folder somewhere before you do it.......
