I don't think FS2 had Force Feedback. Try another game.

Where do you get these comments from Thor? Of course it has force feedback.

Does the force feedback work with other games or is it just FS2 doesn`t work?

Try clicking on the W symbol in your system tray then the options and seeing if you`ve accidently set the strength to zero.

Beyond that I`m stuck as for your problem.

Oh, my bad. I don't have a force feedback stick, and i didn't recall seeing it as an option. my appologies for leading you astray.

Thanks for the feedbacks,

Other games work, (I have force feedback in Mechwarrior IV for instance), but not Freespace 2.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Yvan.

He, I managed to make it working.

Just to let you know, I managed to get force feedback in Freespace 2 "simply" by removing my legacy Wingman Interceptor (non-feedback) from the sound card joystick port.

This is "strange", but it solved the problem.

Now I get feedback in FS2.

One question... is it possible to increase the force effect other than from the joystick configuration, that is from the game FS2 or from some undocumented config files?

thanks in advance for any response.

The overall Force Feedback strengh should be handled in the windows system controls. FS2 does not offer a setup for this.
