X36 Joystick and Freespace2

Hi all

Is there anyone who runs Freespace2 in windows xp home edition and able to use the Saitek X36 Joystick throtle combo sucessfully.

Freespace2 detects the X36 Joystick and calibrates fine in the setup box.

The stick and throtle work ok for about 4 or 5 minutes into a mission before it stops responding or behaving eratically.

Any help or advice welcomed, grateful for anything.

All software drivers are up to date.

Well, i have a MS Sidewinder Presicion Pro 2 or something like that and it works fine.
