a bomber that would look like the icarus(explorer) only smaller
It would look so cool if there could be a bomber for the TBP that could look similiar to the icarus but would have a heavy an-ti capital ship weaponry. it would be non-cannon of course. I wish I was a moddeler, that way I could do it my self :-D.

umm i just thought it would look cool. or maybe you could make it a non pilotable craft. but I guess it would bring balance into issue. about size I was thinking that you could make it about the size of a ursa only a little wider.

ya the EA has a bomber but i was only thinking how cool it would look. but again the EA doesn't have a bomber that can go in the atmosphere just a thunderbolt loaded with missles. although a transport craft can fill in as a heavy support roll.

This is why we have Warlocks, which can blast the crap out of thigs from orbit. T-bolts can handle precision strikes.

Anyone else remember that one episode in (i think) season 5 where a Whitestar jumps out just above groundlevel on Mars? Who needs bombers?

It's in Seaon 4. Endgame. The only way it could do that was cause they got accurate readings from the ground.
However Whitestars are atmosphere cabable as that and the next episode prove so who needs bombers indeed
