to say it patch 1.20 of red faction has bug and gitch problem in it i wish the people who make this patch would make a upgrade patch 1.30 to fix bug problem the gitch that shoot rocket alot that i been seeing going a round red faction servers and modder getting bad ruining the game for other is there any stop to this ?

If you see a modder and can't put up with it, then the old saying goes "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." If you don't wanna join them then you can rack up some skill trying to kill them.

The 1.2 patch was a bloddy joke. It broke more then it fixed. Honestly there are things in 1.1 that were fixed that are now broken. Not to mention the millions upon millions of glitches it created.

There is a few players out there trying to create a 2.0 patch to at least solve the cheating problems.

If you want to play without cheats stick to well rcon'd servers. Hell I rarely stray from servers where I rcon myself.

Croc is not only an awesome online player, but he also serves as the unofficial "policeman" on many a server!

With all of that cheating problem in mind...do any of you have any good ideas to break the stalemate...perhaps even a method of breaking the stalemate. A resource, or a shred of help that would alow for an improved situation.

For instance, TacOps has a 3rd party program that server Admins run that can stop all of the latest hacks dead in the water. I think CS servers have that too. What does it take to get a piece of software similar to that installed on some RF servers? Perhaps instead of complaining, we can appeal en-mass to improve the situation.

Suggestions are always preferable to the alternative.

Like I said there are a few people out there attempting a patch but its awfully hard trying to reverse engineer then put everything back in place while only changing 1 or 2 minute things.
