Where to buy?
Turned a friend onto the game. Where can I direct him to buy a legitimate copy? Amazon and EBworld show it as no longer available.

you are a nice guy
In some specialised shops, you can find sometimes re-editions that includes both fs1, fs1 silent threat, and fs2, for a quite ridiculous price. But this is harder to find as time passes.
You may also direct him to sites that put customers in contact to make business. You can find very nice occasions there, but you depend on the guy that is supposed to send you the game, since the site is generally not getting concerned with this aspect of the trade.

People who didn`t buy FS2 are exactly the reason why we don`t have FS3.

Yeah but don't forget that people weren't given a lot of incentive to buy FS2...

That's no reason to pirate it though. "Boo hoo. Interplay didn`t advertise this game much so I`m going to copy it" Doesn`t really make much sense like that does it?
I know FS3 was also made less likely by interplay's stupid descision not to advertise a game that still sells now but piracy didn`t help matters.
Besides my comment was that "People who didn`t buy FS2 are exactly the reason why we don`t have FS3." In a way that does include the great unwashed masses who never heard of it

I bought FS2 at least two years after it came out, so by then I was probably too late to save the FreeSpace series.
Oh, well. At least I know I'm not an Agent of Darkness / Pirate / THQ employee.
