IFH info

I've been all over the IFH site trying to find out what kind of program it is gonna be. Is it gonna be a retail game, a mod, or some freeware that some Babylon 5 fans wanted to make? I've checked the F.A.Q. and everything. What kind of a program is it?

It's a bloody freeware game... goddamit -- check the screenshots -- 1 picture tells over 1000 b5 words.

Yep and its a standalone game,the games engine and everything else is done by them

Already it's suffering the DNF (Duke Nukem Forever) syndrome in their forums (people believing it's vaporware etc. stuff)...

Well that happens if something takes a long time to release it's bound to cause people to think about if it's ever going to be out.

Annoying for the developers but that's the general feeling the players get. The "when it's done" answer is also annoying for the players since it gives them no indication of how far along the line the developers have got (e.g. have they finished the missions or not? Have they finished the voice acting or not?).

I'm sure it'll be worth playing when it comes out but until then I'll be playing other games/mods and not concern myself over it. So when it does come out it'll be a suprise.

If you`re getting it for free and it's being done just because people want to do it for themselves you can`t really complain about how long it takes to do

What the players don't know is that sometimes the devs just don't know how far they really are along or more accurately...how far they have yet to go.

Release 2 might be out by the end of the summer or we may be working on it till next year. I hope to god not because I want to move on to R3....but I just don't know when we'll be done. It depends on real life and how much time the TBP team has.

What you guys can do is give us the encouragement. Next time you see CptWhite or IPAndrews or Tomcat or whoever on the forum and they post something, be positive...tell them you love them ...they will work harder
