Question Main Halls

Are the main halls from FreeSpace 1 compatible with FreeSpace 2? ie. the Galatea and the Bastion.

i dont know, since the tables are different (added variables possibly) but you could give it a shot.

What Orange means is - assuming the file formats are the same, which I believe there are, you'd have to create a 1024x768 artwork set, since FS1 runs in 640x480 only, and FS2 runs in both 640x480 and 1024x768 and both resolutions in FS2 have their own set of artwork.

and I'm not sure if there's a seperate set of main hall artwork for 32-bit color. Some VP file viewing would probably be your best bet to see what needs to be done.

You got moved to another ship. Check the story again and you'll notice that the changes occur when you moved from the bastion to the galatea (or visa versa)
