HELP: Crashing when entering the campaign room

I get this error every single time i try and enter the campaign room for the briefing:

Error: Couldn't open texture 'HYPERION-08a'
referenced by model 'hyperion.pof'

Im running an AMD-Athlon XP 1800
768 ram
100 gig hdd
NVidia Geforce 3 with the latest drivers
SB Live

Im also running Win2k. Hope someone has some advice. Cheers

You gotta choose the TBP campaign from the campaign room first...

I have chosen the campaign first. This is after choosing it (tried the one that comes with it, & the custom missions for bab proj from volition site and still the same) and then entering the mission briefing. It does it every time.

It does it on the other pc's as well, cos i thought it might just be this one.

And thats 786432 K for FSW

Dunk, you CAN'T PLAY standard FS2 missions with TBP...when you have TBP activated you have play missions, that have been created for TBP...

Hmmm. The error message seems to be telling you exactly what's the problem. Check in your data/maps directory and see if you have a file called hyperion-08a.pcx in that directory. If not then you have managed to miss a file out somewhere.
Either you`ve not installed TBP properly, the file is from the update to TBP1.1 or you`ve somehow managed to delete/move it.

Well, why do you need a 1GHz processor? A 500MHz will still run your programs, just at half speed

did you try switching to a new pilot file. If you use your old one with TBP things start getting very buggy.

I realize my reply might be a little late but i just saw this thing and decided to offer help.
