Summoner Watch: Daily Radar Review
Posted by Orange:
It's time that Summoner gets the recognition that it deserves. The good part of this all is that it got it from one of the largest and most influential site to gamers out there (don't hate me, Ivan), Daily Radar. Summoner scored a "Hit" as a score on their review which is defined as "A solid game that serious gamers should pick up -- particularly fans of the genre. If you only play one game a year, this ain't it. But if you're looking for a good time, this title delivers." Sounds pretty promising to me. Not only does this review give a great score for Summoner, it also is probably the best written review that we've seen yet. Daily Radar is really 1-up in my book lately with some of their Summoner and Red Faction stuff they've been doing. Here's a quote from the review (there were many other good ones, so it was hard to choose, unlike what usually happens):
From there the stage is set for some of the best scripting and plot twists we've seen in an RPG. Much more linear than a Fallout or even a Might & Magic, Summoner tells an epic story that stretches over two continents and involves four diverse and interesting characters. Nobody in the party particularly likes one another, and there's a heightened tension to everything that happens because of it. One of the characters has even sworn to kill Joseph the first chance he gets. That's bad party karma.
Ha ha.. quote funny. Orange laugh now. Yay. Go read now, it's good for you.
