Shields and source codes..

... now.. i know this is abit of a streatch...

And I gave up my intro to coding class a long long time ago so heres te propisition..

Would it be possible.. to have beams.. deflected via the shields? .. and No i dont mean fighter shields.. i mean.. giving large capitol ships.. a primitive shield bubble that would flare up when a torpedo or.. beam hit it...

..... and is this interesting enough for some genious coder to try and make possible..

just wondering...
