and befor u all jump me about credit (funny how i always get jumped and no-one else...not that im bitter *mumble mumble*)

Omegas be Matt Tarling (drakh to you_
T-Bolt be Nick Lee (sir to you)
Maint Fury be Fabio Passaro (god to you)
and the rest be Mine, except the Shuttle who i cant remeber whos it is, probably dean scotts.*shurgs*

ok so whos better bester or reaperman ?

while i appreciate hey are both good, i just prefer reapermans style .....its just ...slicker ...more polished .....

Actually its Liner fog set with a Minimum distance of 200m a max distance of 500 min, Min amount at 5% and max amout at 75%

want a screen cap to prove it

hmm.. it's very noticably fog.

I really don't like the planet - the rings are bad, and I'm not keen on the lensflare; I'm not sure where the light that's causing it is coming from.. if there's a sun in the centre of the image they it should really be more noticeable.

Otherwise the composition is great, and major praise to Matt Tarling.



11 hours?!!?! wtf does it take that long? Is Lightwave just a really slow renderer or what?

ant anyhoo, it didnt take 11 hrs in the end, it only took 2....but i fogtot to assign the surface to theasteroid soe i gotta go and re-render it baka!

im scientifically minded, but probably artistically to an extent too, my opinion is this is art work not scientific work and its on that which i judge it, i take xaphods points on board but as a picture i love it, its would be as pleasing to the eye of the sun was too bright and became the single most important feature on the picture and the planet adds a nice sense of scale...and i think its ok anyway
