What is everyone's fav episode?

Hey guys, I just wanted to hear what you guys think was the best episode/movie.

I do not remember the name of the the episode, but I like the one where Babylon 5 declares independance... Then Earth Force jumps in and tries to take over the station... Wow, that one rocked...

I also liked the one where the Centari wanted that Narn cruiser and fired at both Babylon 5 and the narn Cruiser... One thing I noticed was how pathetic the weapon systems are on Babylon 5... That defence grid is pretty week. Did any of you find it odd that the Centari did not fire on an important area of Babylon 5? They only knocked off that pointy part... I mean they could have done so much more damage by going after the main station itself... Oh well, I think too much... hehehe

Cheers to the best Space Show ever! and the best Space Sim! :-)

My favs

Coming of Shadows (#31)
Comes the Inquisiter (#43)
The Fall of Night (#44)

Wow, all season 2.

My least favorites,
Knives (#39)
Infection (#4)
A Late Delivery from Avalon (#57)
And most of the first few season 5 episodes. It's unfortunate that they had to they had to stretch out that Byron and the telepaths plot line.

By the way, the lurkers guide is back up.

Angry Ug, forgot one

Forgot one of the worst, The Long Dark (#27) cliche' and almost a non-canon episode.

oh, this is supposed to be a "best" list, so I'll add Severed Dreams (#54), the one where they broke away.

I have to saym, it is hard to say which was my favorite, because there were so many good ones. Bad ones, on the other hand, were few and therefore easy to remember. Only 10 or so and truly sucked donkey. Like Grail (#15), which featured a an evil Centari Penis beast.

That episode is "The Deconstruction of Falling Stars" which was the last episode of season 4.

Objects in Motion
Objects at Rest
Sleeping in Light

They have the least amount of fireworks, but have a LOT of emotion.
But, my favorite ep. changes every time I view them.

Thumbs up

My favorite is definitely Endgame. A decent mix of drama and action and probably my favorite science fiction ep of all time.

Exclamation Homo?

Really, now. No bad episodes? Have you seen the episodes I listed. I mean, Grail (#15) was just insulting. Did they really have to use the same prop both as a life sucking “vorlon disguised” beast’s tenticle and as Londo’s elephants trunk like penis. I forgive most of the budget* problems as compared to other sci-fi shows, but this one just had to be done better.

And “homo” was just plain childish.

*“The VOYAGER pilot is *$23 million*?! The BABYLON 5 pilot was $3.5 Billion. With $23 million, we could make 1.3 SEASONS of B5. And have a bit of money left over for a wrap party. Amazing.... “

Whee!

Absolutly "Severed Dreams", don't you guys have anything better to do than fight? Yes I think there are some bad episodes, but I have seen worse! And don't dare to say that I'm "Homo" also or I take my Shinai (Kendo sword) and I come to beat crap out of you!

Intersections in Realtime, closely followed by the one after that, then the one before it.

Definately "The Long Twilight Struggle", "Severed Dreams", "The Fall of Night" and "Sleeping in Light". And for pure good acting "Intersections in Real Time".

I can't believe people actually think that 'Intersections in Real Time' is a realistic episode. Not that it could be shown on TV but where was the rape, brutalisation, sensory depravation? IMO if you can't do a good job then don't do it at all. It is dead easy to find on the net what makes up a good terrorist interrogation - have a look.

Anyway, I have just watched the entirety of B5 from start to finish in less than a month so here are my opinions based upon what's fresh in my mind:

My favourite episodes are:
Season 1: Signs and Portents
Season 2: The Long, Twighlight Struggle
Season 3: Severed Dreams
Season 4: The Long Night
Season 5: And All My Dreams, Torn Asunder
Film: A Call to Arms

Worst Ones:
Season 1: Infection
Season 2: Spider in the Web
Season 3: Grey 17 is Missing
Season 4: The Illusion of Truth
Season 5: Phoenix Rising
Film: River of Souls
