Support Ship Support Broken?
In a few experimental missions I've done I've encountered a serious problem of a somewhat severe yet comic nature.
I enter the mission flying my loveable Starfury, outfitted with those suicidal Venom thingies, and I reach out and touch some bandits with them. After running out of those wingmate killers, I call in a for a rearm. Sure enough, a support ships warps in and I drop the throttle to zero. I wait patiently. I wait a little longer. Still longer. Finally it closes in and begins initiating docking procedures. Yes, yes, here it comes! It's almost there. Almost there! And then......zoom. The support ship speeds off 999 x 10 to the gazillionth power kliks into the distance at a speed of 2436534, never to return. While it elicited a bemused smirk the first time, it became annoying after that.
I've seen this happen before, when trying to order more than one transport to dock with a GTI Arcadia station before. But this time it was only a one-on-one docking operation with ships that feature compatible docking ports. So, is the support ship feature just broken or am I imagining things? If it's the former, will this be fixed in future versions of the MOD?

Bug - it'll be fixed.
Specifically, the docking point for either the Starfury or the rearm ship is broken, but the team'll fix it.

Question: In some missions when a ship docks with another ship, the docking ship gets thrown several thousand kilometers away. What happened?
Answer: This is an error in the model and its defined docking ports. The model will undobutedly be fixed so be paitent.
Can people please read the FAQ?

I would imagine that rearming during B5 missions is not a big issue really as missiles on fighters are seldom used against other fighters (danger of friendly fire with no shields) and you can only really rearm between combats (i.e. After the target capital ship is destroyed). That being said however, as part of the story's plot rearming makes sense.
BTW, what ship does the rearming in TBP? I haven't tried it out yet.

There are a couple of things.
1) We might do up a slightly more special crew shuttle later so that it could be made story worthy.
2) The dockport data is wrong and it will be fixed sooner or later.
3) The purpose of putting the crewshuttle support ship in right now was to prevent crashes to desktop when people requested the support ship in a user made mission.
This bug doesn't crash to desktop but calling a support ship with no dock port does...so this is the best case scenario for now.

Aaah, that explains having two crew shuttle variants in the mod

Woah. This also happens with ships other than the support shuttle?
