I need more!

Ok, I'm new and have got a simple question:

When will there be other missions/campaigns released????

I wan't to have more of this fantastic game, the minbari-human war was great but much too soon over!

So long....

Personally I think a REAL campaign is in the need of FULL voiceacting. That's what makes it outstanding....

Aspects :

1. It's just cool with voiceacting

2. Even if there is a wonderful plot and pulitzer-chatter , I never get aware of it. I simply don't have the patience ( or the mental capacity ) to FIGHT and so read the text simultaneously. I always think I just missed something essential. With Voiceacting this doesn't happen and it's more relaxed gameplay.

3. It's a pain in the ass to GET FULL voiceacting for a campaign. I am already having nightmares when I think of our main campaign...

P.S.
1) On FILEPLANET and 3D-DOWNLOADS we have a total of over 13,000 downloads. That's a little more than I expected.
This also means a great responsibility for follow-up releases...
2) Information : The only campaign I know what it is about is the EARTH ALLIANCE CIVIL WAR. What I can say is that you will encounter EA , NARN , DRAZI , RAIDER, CENTAURI and MINBARI ships. Eventually other League races as well. No information on the plot. You already know enough from the show. Due to the size and the immense amount of work to do you won't see the EA Civil War too soon. Not in the next 6 months.

I'm currently putting together my EA-Minbari campaign, including 12 scripted missions, all the battles seen in the show, voice excerts from 'In the Beginning' and new and original voice acting for the new missions. Trouble is that it will take at least two months to complete. I have three missions mostly done now, including the first contact situation

Should be good!

I also think that it would be a good idea for somebody to produce a raider campaign, ultimately not necessarily targeted at the EA only. The Raiders could target Narn, Drazi, etc. as they do later on in the series

For best effect I think that the campaign would need to be from the perspective of a Raider pilot.

Another idea for a campaign could be to be a Babylon 5 Starfury pilot (like Keffer, but not as he dies) and fight out all of the missions that Babylon 5 is involved in, including scouting missions into deep space. I think that this idea also has the benefit that it can use missions already made for other campaigns.

In the EA Civil War campaign you also take the role of a specific pilot.

A Raider campaign would be my favorite ! That is definitely the one that offers the greatest potential. Some nice dealings with organisations and governments + rude piracy..... Cool. Absolutely cool.

Has somebody in the team been allocated a Raider campaign to script?

If not then if somebody in the team would like to talk to me about it, given some assurances and initial guidance, I could produce a Raider campaign script (all assuming nobody is currently doing so) when my current campaign comes nearer to completion (February, but I can start gathering ideas now).

I could also be pursuaded to make the missions themselves but only once all of the EA ships have been released. However I could only make 50% of the missions as I would need the Narn, Centauri and Non-Alligned Worlds ships to make the remainder of the missions. Then and only then would I be able to pull the campaign together and release it.

Only one problem with the raider campaign, the Zephyr sucks.

One word for you: squadrons

Raiders work as a team, not as individuals.

In 'Thirdspace' a flight of Starfuries take out more than twice their number in Zephyrs, but that was only once the Starfuries got in amongst the Zephyrs.

The campaign is not just about having a good ship either. It is about atmosphere and just imagine trying to take out civilian liners before reinforcements arrive, then scampering off with your ill-gotten gains with your mothership. You could have a branching campaign, keeping your mothership secret and with the Non-Alligned Worlds/ISA forming a coherent plan to trap you and break your group of raiders. Sound good? I hope so
