Whee! Questions

This is what we ( I ) know (think) so far:

Sol has been cut off for an extremely long time.
They 'supposedly' do not have beam weapons, but are very powerful, nevertheless.
They have technology that rivals the GTVA.
There are few Vasudans in Sol.

So, if all this is true, then all of the work, and acheivement in the GTVA with our allies, the Vasudans, can practically be worthless.
Right?

If the F.O.S. have all this technological advancement, and they rival us. We have two species working on advances, and vastly growing resources as the GTVA expands, and they have one system, and one species working on al of these projects, then isn't our alliance with the Vasudans worhless?

What if Khonsu hadn't built the Collosus, and instead, made about 2700 sobeks? Would we have still lost 30,000 like aboard the Collosus? Were all of those deaths necessary?

Why not send in Corvettes, 3 at a time, beamed up Koth's Orion, saved Enif station, etc.

If 33 Fenrises can kill a Sathanas, why not use them?

Is our alliance with the Vasudans futile?

Did the Terrans realize this?

Are the Vasudans secretly planning our demise, placing our soldiers in flying tubs and letting them die at the hands of themselves, and the shivans?

Does this have anything to do with BWO?

Am I rambling on?

Huh?

Am I?

Ok, I am, but does it bother you?

Does it?

Dont forget, The Vasudan homeworld is rubble and no other system can rival the sheer industrial resources of the Sol system. The FOS had much more reason to develop weaponary systems and technology than the GTVA.

Question

I've got a biggy: What happened to Admiral Bosch, and was the ETAK project really a success?

I have a question:

Why is it that we have already assumed that the SOL forces will be hostile to anybody who comes into their system?

After thinking about this for a while(2 seconds) I have concluded that they will be hostile because otherwise we will have a very boring campain.

Maybe they would be isolationists after a long period of being cut off from the galactic alliance they created?

Why does everyone assume that Sol is on even footing with the GTVA?

Not that I'd know anything of course

Sol would be nowhere near the power of the GTVA... it's simply impossible. But they would be able to firmly defend a single system from the GTVA fleet, and would be well entrenched.

The only way an isolated Sol could rival the GTVA would be if a large number of (GTVA)Terrans defected to their side.

He was saying that he figured you would have figured ETAK out by now.

We know what it did. It allowed communication with the Shivans. Did it work? You tell me. The Shivans boarded the Iceni (never before happened), took Bosch and his higher ups, and disposed of the rest of the crew.

So that answers your question pretty much. Are all the answers there? No...

No it doesn't. I was asking where you though Bosch may have gone once he and his commanders were taken. And we really don't know to what degree ETAK worked.

Sol..it's technology..is it equivalent, or better?..Do they have sort of super-ship?...do you think they still have a hate of Vasudans, at least equivalent to the NTF? They didn't have a couple decades to get used to them as allies.

Besides, I was just throwing the questions out for people to ponder, I didn't really want answers.

I think aldo's got something there. "Two endings, Two choices. Who's side are you on?" Isn't this BWO's tag line?

I think a major insurrection would start in the GTVA's ranks if they tried to attack Sol for any reason, Earth wasn't taken by a hostile force; the old GTA was still in control at the time of the collapse.(Our old friends, remember?)

Continue to fight for the GTVA (the face-less organization who continues to suffer loss after loss to the Shivans, is starting to loose thier grip on power after Capella, and shows little consideration to your avrage joe) or join Sol (Our home, the "shining jewel of the GTA" that managed to survive about 50 yrs. of isolation) and their fight to stop the GTVA's imperalistic invasion?

Well SOL was cut off at the end of the great war, 30 years or so later was the second great war and then warzone/derelict and then BWO. I tell you, i'll be fighting for sol! Instead of beams mabye then launch Fighters which are actually just Cruise Missiles that deal damage.

What exactly will be "The Big Choices" in BWO?
Or do we have to wait.
