About your next release
I know the next release is months away at best, but I am positive you have an idea of what you are thinking of making. Throughout the boards there have been many conflicting posts about what will be in the next release. The first ones I remember claimed the T-Bolt and the Omega among others yet to be named. There was another post saying it would contain many more EA and Minbari ships while Narn and Centauri ships would come in a later release. Then I heard the Warlock would be in the next release as well. I also recall that it was said that all canon ships would be released before beginning with the non-canon and AoG ships to be included later. One final thing I remember is that it was said that a new campaign would be released with every release, or at least more missions or mini-campaigns.
Now here comes my question, exactly what will the campaign in the next release be about? The current release is a demo of the EA-Minbari War, does that mean the team will officially make a EA-Minbari War Campaign and will it be the campaign for the xent release? Or will the EA Civil War be the campaign in the next release as I had heard originally planned. I recall from the very beginning of this mod the main campaign was supposed to be focused in the EA Civil War, while other mini-campaigns would fill out other conflicts.
I ask because if the next release will have a real EA-Minbari War Campaign then why would any ships not pertinent to that campaign be released in other words why release an Omega or a T-Bolt if they're not going to be used?
If the next campaign is the EA Civil War then the Omega and T-Bolt are great but why's the Warlock there? Though I really want the Warlock I am curious why will it be in the next release if it won't appear in the campaign? Is it just so single missions with it can be made until a later campaign is formed?
So what I'm asking is what are we to look forward to in the terms of campaign story for the next release. Understand I'm not asking how much is done or when will it come out, I know it's way too early for those kind of annoying questions. But I know you must have an idea of what the next campaign will be. Since the advanced EA amd Minbari ships are in it is it the Dra'kh War? From the EA's perspective? Or are some of the next ships ging to be released just for the sake of releasing them?
And does this mean that a new campaign will be made for every new release based on the ships in that release and what came out before? By that I mean, when the Centauri/Narn release is made, will the campaign be the Narn-Centauri War and the same with the Vorlon/Shadow Release? Will the AoG and non-canon release compose a non-canon campaign?
I am trying to determine a chronollogical theme to the relases. The first was EA-Minbari War, next will be full EA-Minbari War or EA Civil War or both campaigns? Since the next release was informed would be the longest to be made.
Because I'm seeing a lot of ships to be released that may not be used so that's why I want to know what your plans are for the next campaign, so I'll know if ships like the Warlock are actually going to be in the next campaign or will ships like this just be sitting in the hard drive until later campaigns are made?

Basically after Release 2 all canon EA and Minbari ships will have been released. This means that even though several ships will not be involved in the civil war campaign, there will be no need to release further EA or Minbari ships sporadically as they will all be there already.
Hope that clarifies the logic behind the decision

Well, the biggest campaign we are currently planning is the EA Civil War campaign. It will definitely come, but due to the amount of ships needed ( no , I won't tell you exactly ) and its size (30+ missions ) you won't see it so soon.
The Earth Civil War is my project at the moment and I spent at least 1-2 hours daily to work on the script. This campaign will have a dense plot and a lot of atmosphere, despite the models needed the problem of getting VOICEACTING for it is giving me headaches.
And : No chance my campaign will be released WITHOUT full speech and anims. That has always been a condition.
There is much work to do, and I tell you I could not even give you a release date if I wanted to.

We should not confuse the fact that Release 2 will probably have another mini-campaign (were hoping for it to be a bit larger as well). It'll probably be EA Civil War, but not in the depth detail, or coverage of events as Skullars will.

(A long time in the future) how will you be releasing the separate components of the conversion? Will you have a pack for the core, music, animations, ships, and campaigns, or combine them to have an EA-Minbari pack, a Centauri-Narn pack, etc.?

Why would you need a new music pack?

Existing packs will be updated, so you don't have to download full packages, only updates which should be much smaller in size.
Or so it was planned...
