Two things - I tried looking for the answer, but in the evacuation of proxima I get the green backdrop around it, I read about it awhile ago like i said but couldnt find the post - ever find a way to fix it?


Also, Volition uses...mmm MVE format right? I remember dling a program that ripped the movies to an EXE File or whatever so u could play it outside of the game

Does anyone have this or know where i can get it (something about interplay not wanting that program out due to secret video format secrets or something mumble)

1.) Do you mean the green "background" behind Proxima Station? Set Model Detail to the maximum in the Options Menu. This got rid of the problem for me.

2.) Yes, Interplay did "outlaw" MVEEXTRACT. A through search of the internet may yield favorable results. Or you could just get someone with some extra time and a generous spirit (not me) to email it to you.

Ive managed to lose it (d'oh!), but if someone can give the filenames to it, there's definately an old copy on the descent network. Just use google to search for the unlisted pages.
