You man of little faith!!! actualy I'm building up a mission just based on the scenes minutes after that pic...I'm reproducing it as close I can get with FS2 even with real sounds of chatrer thar one other friend has provided me. So far I managed to make sinclair's friend michell get creamed in this battle, a large number of minbari and earth fleets:
minbari:5 sharlins 25 nials
earth:4 novas 4 hyperions, 4 olympus, and 32 starfuries.
As we seen by the experience of other FS2 users and in another topic, the more RAM you have the more ships you can sqeeze in before FRED2 goes down the drane.
So far those ships listed above can be had in the mission if you have 256 MB.
I'm planning a further 512MB before christmas so I expect to at least double both confronting fleets.
Let me tell ya, as it is now...ITS An ARMAGGEDON like friggin mess!! Theres ships blowing up all the time, EA ships get iced in the background, and Minbari fighters form swarms!! Desperate like radio comms, music etc...
Make no mistake: its a mess but its a balanced one, you can actualy finish the mission, the minbari will break through but not without some suffering as well. The player actions and orders to his wingmen can mean the total obliteration of all the EA ships, or be successful in delaying the Minbari ships (its impossible to achieve a victory). All it needs is figure out an inteligent way to out manuever the minbari fleet with good timing. thats the key of this mission.
I don not know exactly how in the real moovie the battle ends, I have a trailer of the battle but lasts only a few minutes, I do not know if the battle has an interruption like in the demo campaign, the second battle of the line mission where The EA fleet re-unites at a lower orbit. I could use some clarification.
Yes I never wached that moovie fully, it never passed on TV and the only B5 movie I have seen was a call to arms. The series ended before the civil war.

Those used to be so hard for me when I was 6-7 years old. I thought it was the hardest thing to find Waldo....but I managed to go through the entire series of Waldo books recently (having not even so much as glimpsed at a Waldo book for years) in about 15 minutes.
Anyone else have that experience?
The joy and satisfaction of finding Waldo became a marathon

how do I put a pic onto the message like that instead of a link?
in "In The Beginning", the battle of the line is fought just like part one of the mission in the demo in high earth orbit, there is no break with earth retreating, it ends with most of the earth fleet gone but fighters still attacking each other and sharlins closing, as they just stop firing... *** the found out about sinclair/valen's soul and surrendered***

Life lesson #1: Life isn't fair. Get over it.
People will not forgive you instantly. You're going to have to work at it for quite some time before everyone figures it out.

Ahh, yet another application of my Communications Studies program. People tend to dwell on negative attributes. A single bad impression will shade out the next eight good impressions. People will forgive, but it takes time so understand that.
