Where did you get that picture? It looks to me like the standard warlock engine section has been chopped off and the rear end of an Omega Destroyer pasted on the end.

According to everything that I have heard and seen on the progress of the Warlock it was never inteded to have a rotating section, the Shadow thralls were providing artificial gravity technology to implement in the Warlock.

I know what's happened, somebody thought wouldn't it be great if the Warlock could go underwater, so they put a great big propeller on it.

With the coming of the Interstellar Alliance the EA got it s hands on arttificial gravity tech. From this time on no more ships with rotating sections.

Interesting, I wonder where they got this idea from?

There is no particular reason why these prototypes couldn't have existed other than they haven't been mentioned before.

Thats one of them there drawn concepts that someone drew up for fun. Might have been one of the prototypes. Definately not the finished version (case in point, ACTA and Each Night I Dream of Home).

That's just one of those weird guest drawings made in wolf's shipyard, it's like that horrendous Omega without the rotational section or that terrible mutation of a Warlock on steroids called the Dreadnought.
