Crap?

I try to start a new campaign and I get this:

ErrorCan't open file <fighter04.pof>
File:C:\projects\freespace2\code\model\modelread.cpp

Call stack:

-------------------------------------------------------

Eh, I tried copying the files to that dir above and it still wont work, my FS2 dir is on d:\fs2

have a full install.. dunno :/

Your download was corrupted by Palestine terrorists.

if your folder is d:\fs2 then you should extract the demo files to d:\fs2\data

Did you go to campaign room and change the campaign from freespace2 main to "Earth-Minbari war demo".

If this is the case, don't feel bad, you're the 7th(!) person I have had to explain this.

Note that it complained something about "fighter04.pof", there's no such model in the mod nor in normal freespace, so i strongly suggest that you completely reinstall FS2(you don't need a full install), and then install the corefiles, and then additional downloads to D:\fs2\data\

fighter04 is the apollo

check to make sure you don't have a ships TBL in your main directory from another mod, like one that had the old FS1 ships in it.

I dont think it is, and btw that link you put of the big file (130MB) I think it has a CRC error, or its just my bad luck

Alright, I dunno if it helps but here we go

System specs :
AMD 1333
Asus a7v-133
384RAM
GF2MX


Now eh the game is Freespace 2 GOTY edition (dunno if it helps)

I did a fresh install, no mods no nothing, on it I installed the mod, when I try to start a capmaign or see the tech room it crashes :|

yeah pera is starting to piss me off too... skuller's joke was funny, pera's wasnt.

anywho, I had the problem too...I started playing the oiginal FS2 campaign..and it was working! (uptil command briefing anyway )

when I try to run the normal campai(g)n I have the same error just with a ShivMov01 or something missing... and it didnt fix the B5 campaign

I'm starting to think that no matter what nothing will work here, hmm
