open up your freespace folder
copy your data folder and paste it somewhere safe
make sure your freespace is upto date
then extract the TBP core files to the data folder click yes to all if it asks you to overwrite any files then run freespace as normal
all the data files will have been overwritten with the core files so it should only play as TBP
if you want Freespace back just copy the files from the first data folder back into the folder within the freespace directory
puncuation ......,,,,,!!!!????
add where you see fit
: )

Having done all that, you'll notice the program still looks like FREESPACE 2 (although the music should have changed if you loaded the music enhancement. So you need to go into the Campaign Room and you should have a choice of two options:
the Babylon Project campaign, or
the original Freespace 2 campaign.
Select the option to change the campaign to the Babylon Project and you should be presented with the loadout screen for the Babylon Project mod. Then you just select the option to start a new campaign.
Et Voila! (hopefully)

Well, now I just have to re-download the core files (delelted the old by mistake), and of course, the downloads don't seem to be working very well right now.
Thanks for the help.
