Fine...make my draw it out more.
Sliding sort of works....but there are alot of problems with it. First of all, the AI doesn't or barely uses it and it can cause some wackyness with the AI routine. Second it makes ships even harder to hit, which could be fixed by rebalancing somewhere else, but that can cause innumerable problems by itself, and then getting the whole manuvering thing down may be frusterating to some players.
Overall, its futile, useless, and troublesome.
Our ships do have some YPR dampening and acceleration values that most FS2 ships don't have which gives a better feeling of having the inertia of the ship behind you. Its better than nothing...but it doesn't let you fly the length of a ship firing at it sideways.
