Job

You know if I keep this spell-checker thing going I might get a job offering by IceFire. <Enter the "Here Comes the Money" song.>

They have sufficiently more than qualified people to do spell checking in-house.

Well, since IceFire's out of town until probably next Tuesday at the earliest, I'll speak for him.

"We do not have any need for a spell checker at this point in time. This job will be handled internally by Beta Testers and/or Word 2000. We do appriciate your offer though."

I'll bring this up to him when I see him this Sunday , but don't hold your breath.

Oh, I got the idea when after playing your Derelict, Warzone, and Awakenings campaigns that you guys are in serious need of one. Electronic or human. Only bad thing about Electronic ones is that they have no idea how to spell Terran etc. I understand some things I mean nobody ever really cares about it, but it makes the job look professional which it is, in terms of gameplay and enjoyment. I think that your campaigns were better than the ones Volition made. Plus I noticed your campaigns are done in British style English. Like co-ordinate and neutralise. This is where a human comes in too.

Just as a general question does anyone remember the Aftermath campaign? They like had a spell checker yet it was the most uglist thing I've ever seen in my life. Anyone who can't spell Upon I'm sorry that's unacceptable. I can definately accept words like unfortunately, definately, and so on. I'm probably getting boring now so I'll shutup.

Chocks away!!! Tally ho!

Ahem, sorry. FRED2 really needed an in-built speel checker (as do I ). You could always just type out all the briefings, etc in Word and check them before pasting - if you don't do that already.

Sorry, i konw this is pointless. I just wanted to say Tall-ho, dammit!

let me check with the members of my team first. though ours is pretty easy to work with since we use an actual script made with word in outline mode.

The reason for British english is because most of us are not from the United States and the world does not revolve around you

Agatheron and myself are Canadians and Kellan and Dark are from the UK. Dynamo and Bobboau are the Americans of the team

Um, actually, it does. it makes the world alot easier to deal with. especially those mean nasty canadians freezing to death way up there.

Just kidding!

actually, alot of americans do not think that the world revolves around us. it seems that way because we are more focused on things in our home states. alot of americans watch the us news to find out whats going on in the world. witch focuses primarily on news reports that involve the us in some way. its not that we think that the world revolves around us, its just that the average american doesn't come into contact with te world (outside of the US).

I used to watch 'CNN Headline News' to find out about world events, but their coverage was often too brief, and not in depth enough.

I stopped watching it because 90% of the news is about Palestinians vs. Israelis. And I got real tired of hearing...

"In Israel today, ** Palestinians, and ** Israelis were killed when a pipe bomb went off in down town ***************..." Etc.

News is too depressing...

CNN isn't as bad as local news.

Homicide here, serial rapist there, its pretty bad.

Read CNN.com, then you can weed what you want out and just read what you do want to.

At least here we know who our opponents are. And the good guys have guns.
