You shouldn't compare it to Todd Pederzani's model. I used CAClarke's EA Breheny model as a reference and it's lightyears away compared to Pederzani's in both accuracy and in texture quality.
It's my opinion that the textures need to be dirty. If I would make them like in the pics you're showing it would look like a toy. Not like a battle-hardened veteran ship that I want it to look like

Personally, I feel that if we have a near completed Hyperion, we should worry about the textures being too dirty. This mod still looks light years ahead any other mod I've seen for b5. Nice work on the Hyperion Eternal One =)

Nice pics (still waiting these to load) but I know that they are excellent.
Edit: As I said, excellent. But Nial guns, they still don't look real.

(Sorry, I just like this as cannon as possible...)

Awesome! You guys know how to make me (and others i think) drool!!
I also think that "dirty" textures make the ship look more "real".
BTW is it the Midwinter Class Cruiser that has two heavy particle lasers (in it's rear/engine-section)?? Is that variation of the Hyperion Class going to be included to the MOD too?

"Shouldn't we make sure that this thing actually moves before polishing the chromes?" Just to borrow (well, loosely) someone from somewhere . Remember that Drake guy? He was only slowing things down... Do we have one of them here ?

Are you going to put the Hyperion badging on the nose and over the EA symbol on the side?

There is more than one Hyperion class cruiser so the nameplate would be inappropriate.
Sue me about the Nial guns. This was a test. See what happens we we show people tests, they get all crazy like worried about this that and the other
The size is right as far as I know. The ship is 1100 meters if I remember correctly. Its fairly large and we see evidence of that in A Voice in the Wilderness Part 2 when the Badger flys towards B5.

The ship looks great, although I have to admit it seems kinda....vacant....without the name and number plate. Even just a few numbers would be nice (yes, I know there's more than one Hyperion).

Actually, that Nova has alot of texture warping and turret problems.
I think Skullar has been assigned to work on those textures now and we'll hit the turrets later.
