I just pitted Styxx's Apocalypse against three Golgotha class destroyers. All three Golgotha class desotroyers were eliminated.

The positive side is that they took the Apoc down to 76% hull integrity, the majority of that damage being done by the Meson Cannon.

Hey - don't say that I didn't warn you.

But as stupid as it might seem, the final version of the Apocalypse will be balanced. This version has the same weapon on all turrets (kinda dumb, heh?) and it's a Hella Poweful one.

The main thing about facing the Apocalypse, though, is the way you position the attacking fleet. You didn't place all three Golgotha's around the Apocalypse's neck, did you?


Note: The Apocalypse is supposed to be a beast. Why in hell would you think I'd use a name like that if it was otherwise? Of course, it's not as powerful as the Victorious, but then again...

I just flew as an Aeolas (yes u herd me right) against that thing with a criuser fleet at my back and...It wasn't pretty. My fleet was destroyed within 5 minutes.

It was a 12 minute battle. The Golgotha's main cannons were opening fire quite a bit before the forward cannons of the Apoc could do anything. But they didn't do an aweful lot.

The Golgotha against a Destroyer can take it down in one blast. This is just the raw stats....we can do much more interesting things in our mission structures.

Hey - it's 20Km. How embarassing, a member of the staff that does not know the true size of the ship.

And if I told you that it is NOT the largest thing you'll see on Machina Terra, what would you think? We have a purpose on creating such a large vessel, and you'll know it when the time comes. If anyone has anything against the size of the ships we are creating, send me a complain letter and I'll carefully read, then burn it.
