I'm sorry. I have to totally disagree again.
The amount of techno already in FreeSpace 2 is fair, fine, and gives the game color and variety in the musical score, but FreeSpace 2 is an epic space combat game, not some silly shoot em up.
By far the best tracks in the game are Track 2 and Track 4. Heavy choral and moody orchestral make these two peices and give alot of mood to the game.
On the other hand, Revelations is a VERY nice piece that combines some of the choral with some techno/industrial beats. I like it and the style fits nicely, but straight up techno is not suited.
Thats just my opinion of course, but I think I have better musical understanding and "appreciation" than some.

You simply should not have music on a website. It's just wrong.

Yes....but I was just gonna have it as an option for a theme... When you load up my webpage it will ask: Webpage(music) or Webpage(no music) or something like that.

Then it depends on what your looking for.
If the BWO page had music...it'd be a dark and ambient piece of techno/choral mixes.

LOL
Where would you find it? Unfortunately, probably inside my head. I haven't heard anything that quite fits that niche. Maybe if I become great and talented I'll try my hand at it

IMHO the FS2 music is great.
Choral parts can be really atmospheric, or strident as in Duel of the Fates from SW1 : The Phantom Menace.

The FS2 music is fine as it stands. It grates on the nerves after a while tho. Just download an MP3, convert it to a wav, and slap that in the game. My fave is "Take The Power Back" by ... erm... RAtM i think.

Personally tracks 2 (Genesis) and 3 (Leviticus) I believe are the best.
Track 3 has a nice pacing to it and the string background adds much to it to help slow and mediate it from total chaos.
