Thanx to Max Sterling, Without Remorse will feature the new GTVA fighter known as the GTF Phoenix.

The Phoenix has a new design that makes it a powerful ship in a fight. The new colors that you see are part of the GTVA's attempt to get more recruits. Since the Capella tradgety, the GTVA has been hard pressed for new recruits.

This design just may change that.

Pretty colors won't attract recruits.

Work out a plot reason that it's a cheap to manufactuer ship and pilots literally get strapped into them...

I reckon that its a really cool design but itlacking something........i can't put my finger on it.Maybe that ring around it put me off a little.

What is its top speed?
i bet those rings make it easy to hit!

has it occured to anyone that most likely when you shot at something with this one the shots will go aroudn eh hsip and probally not hit - this strikes me as not the greatest idea ever

Its not really any bigger than an Ares... plus you are not able to load kaysers or maxims on it because it cant support that much power.

I could see a Pegasus or Perseus managing to fit through the majority of its fire...perhaps.

Like with a WC3 Arrow and the forward cannons of the Paktahn.

That's probably better as a deterrant fighter, good for spraying the area with fire, or taking out small capships and bombers, which are bigger targets.

Works just fine when I fly it. Remember the guns do converge... and if you just aim PART of the ring at a ship you will get as many hits as a normal fighter...

i personally could see this fighter being used as a long range patrol ship, sinse it looks to be a little on the large side with a lot of hull space, if you made it a dark color you would have to perfect ship for those long range patrols. it certainly has the firepower to take on all comers up to and includinag small warships with ease. but personally, i think the flames look a little silly on a GTVA ship. now a pirate ship, that would work perfectly on one of those.

Obviously people have trouble thinking out of the box for an unconventional design.

Who wants to make another boring FS2 looking ship? Not me. Hehe. These things look cool in the game engine. And they are no bigger than a Herc 2.

its a cool ships i just had concerns about being able to hit stuff but if its not a probelms then its a great ship - although i dont think the paint job is right not for a military oranisation unless its the display team

hey theres a thought is there any way of putting missiles trails onto a fighter? like smoke trails for displays - not much use i know but it would look quite cool
