Talk about ignoring a community...

Jebus, they honmestly believe that RF2 has a good enough storylinein SP to survive as a FPS? Oh wait theres bots. Let me see how often I would enjoy multi with bots. Well about the time it took me to type this.

WTF are they thinking, ignoring the 1 thing that made RF what it was just so they dont have to try to write decent code.

I remember way back when the longest most active thread on the vbb was a petition for bots in multi

So it looks like they finally listened to somebody.

petitions rarely work :/
and it's pretty late

but it's getting signatures quickly, hopefuly it will have an effect. I don't mind waiting 6 months, or 1 year more, or even more, to get an as good as RF1 game with proper multi etc

Yeah, if it means waiting a year and paying $60 for it, I'll do that.

Let's hope they change their minds.

It was worth a shot. As expected no response from THQ or Outrage from my emails concerning the petition. I guess they somehow think burying their heads and pretending everything is ok is the route to go.
Oh well, we tried.

656 Total Signatures so far btw.

This just makes it easy for THQ to blame poor PC sales and stop porting at all to it. Another crappy game sold like sh!t on PC. Listening to people helps....especially when you want them to purchase your product.

Seriously THQ right now are clueless instead of porting their good games to PC they are porting all the games for consoles that undersold by a longshot, and then they sit scratching their heads wondering why PC sales are poor.

My hint of the day for THQ: a crappy console game = a crappy PC game

OK RF had multiplayer code, RF2 is based on RF1's code so they had to remove/disable existing multiplayer code to do this,
why the hell would they do this?
they must be trying to give it bad sales

I think it is kind of THQ brass trying to give themselves a reason to not port games anymore.

I look at alot of the THQ ports and they simply ignore the big issues with the games and port them over. And when poor sales hits blame it on anything other then bad coding.

Its true PC sales are generally less then consoles, who is to say what the true reason is. But there is one thing that stands true, PC gamers are alot less friendly to crappy code then their console bretheren(sp?)

( seems like they always tend to answer me)

For those that are interested here:

While we were not able to deliver online play in RF II for Xbox, THQ has
implemented online capabilities in games like MotoGP and MX Superfly for
Xbox and intends to introduce online features in several of its key
franchises in the future.

Yes but I cannot find the answer to my question on your site or any other
site.. so please if you would be so kind as to simply answer the question.
Its not like its that hard to do. Its a yes or no question.
thank you
