Will you change the Subspace into Hyperspace?
That would make some cool missions possible!

We'll probably use the nebula more than the subspace tunnel...but we do need to work out hyperspace.

I'm sure there's a comment about the source code here but I haven't looked... could you not modify the code to display animations over textures... this you could create an animtation, stick it to the inner surface of the nebula sphere...bam - a (hopefully) good subspace effect (since the POOFs are semi trasnparent...)

i have idea for editing the way hyperspace looks as i see it there must be values something for poof appearing distances , i plan to make avenger change these ...and there was the visability issue

Would the Sourcecode changes be needed?
As far as I remember there are nebulas with more than one colour. And the "move aroung" (I dont know the right word).
So a black red nebula would look very much like hyperspace I think.

Black doesn't really do it....I'd love to have some sort of animated texture later on....that'll be source code stuff. In the meantime, we'll probably render a red/black background and do some nifty nebula effects.
