Can Capital Ships be controled?

Hi all,

I think that Freespace 2 is a great game and this mod even better since I like babylon 5!

I´ve been wondering , can Capital Ships be playable, and could you controld the fighterbays (if it had!)? And if not why can´t you control a capital ship?

I know a lotta questions but snce I´m new to Freespace 2 modding (especialy Babylon5).

Cold anyone lead me to some modding tools for freespace 2?

Many thanx in advance

It is possible to control capships. It's just not possible to do it any way that makes it fun (It's a several step task and even then you'll have to make the capship invulnerable or risk crashes). If you're still interested I'm sure someone here can tell you how to do it (I just wasn't in the mood to type it all out if you're going to decide it's not worth it).

As to the second part check my FAQ for all kinds of links and info on how to mod.

BTW if you haven't tried out FS2_Open give that a try too. If you don't know what FS2_open is look here
