Upcoming Models

Does TBP plan to include other models from B5Wars other than what's listed on the model page? Though there are obvious limitations to the number of models available in the game, I can see at is concievable to have a whole crapload of models from a variety of races and having each campaign simply provide a ships.tbl to select which ships would be neccesary in the campaign.

Though obviously accomplishing this would require a lot of work in the model department. And I'm not sure how long it takes to create each model but its probably substantial.

the source code project has been able to increase the ship limit, so once they have it all bug free, there shouldn't be any problems fitting in all the ships the team wants.

And they are working on some non-show models, i know for sure the Narn Bintak, the best ship in B5.

As I understand it though, raising the ship limits beyond a certain level breaks the multi-player function. I don't know if any of the code junkies have any concievable way around it, but its a trade-off for some at this point.

The Trivial Psychic Strikes Again!

Eh, I never play multiplayer anyway. Never bothered to figure out how-to. I know they're making the Bin'tak and the Octurion but there are some other cool ships out there. Like the Narn Ka'Toc (has same big weapon as the bin'tak, so might as well make it) and probably the Sho'Kar (need some AWACS) and stuff.

I hope they do a few of the Centauri ships like the Altarian and Balvarin because in B5Wars some of the centauri ships have been sold off to other races like the Gaim and Balosians, so with a new skin and a few new weapons you can have an entirely new ship with the same model. Basically, it would be good to do the models that would go the farthest.

If I get interested enough, I might try to do some of the B5Wars Dilgar ships. They're my favourite race from the game and with most of the Earthers done (who can get downgraded for the older era) they already have some opponents, though the Digar War itself includes a bunch of the league races so it wouldn't totally be accurate. But the Dilgar are cool none the less.

It would be VERY nice to see the Dilgar
