Tale of EAS Janus?

Hi, I thought this was an okay place to ask this question as Rose frequents this forum and most people have probably played this. But does anyone else find this campaign REALLY hard? Or do I just suck?

I'm playing on easy and basically an even number of Minbari Nials will wipe out every one of my wingmen in about 1 minute taking maybe 2 casualties. And once my wingment (aka decoy targets) are dead I don't last much longer.

I also find that it takes a lot longer to kill enemy fighters than in Freespace, so I end up not being able to kill the enemy fast enough.

Is there a trick to playing this campaign?
I'd like to try that In the Beginning campaign but I can't download it properly. When I try to unrar it with Winrar 3.2 it says there's an unexpected end to the file (as I understand it "the whole file isn't here") even though the rar appears to be infact bigger than the download window advertises. So I dunno.

Yes, there is a trick-don't play it on "Insane" difficulty.

Utmost tricks for survival are following:
1. Make sure wingmans survive, they're worth of every kill they make.
2. Rely on fire power of capital ships, so dont strafe far away with wingmens.
3. Most surest way to face enemy is get behind, de-accelarating so you can turn faster to face enemys rear, when it is vulnerable.
4. Keep your tail clean, if somebody targets you, return to favor and make sure he gets down before you.
5. If you get targeted by multiple hostiles, launch "death circle", spin around with hostiles and take all shots you can, its long process and needs a lot nerves, but eventually you win.
6. Transfer all power from shields to Engines and Weapons
7. Leave soon as you're allowed and you can, there is prettier ways to die than because you stayed behind, there is no point to play hero, Minbaris wont really be impressed by that, I can tell you

I get often that I do make hard missions and Janus I is very though nut, but I managed on it myself and I made it on my medium level. Sorry for it, maybe I write walktrough eventually

Anyway, since due small problems in past days I had with computer, I will dedicate all my time for completing Janus II campaign soon as I get MindGames weapons done for good. Expect it maybe in month or two.

At least I do play TBP in Insane and Hard, unlike some unmeantioned Ashraks who play with Very Easy
Yeah for granted I lose to you in multiplayer and I am sucky pilot on my personal opinnion, but aren't others even trying? Janus 1 should be piece of cake campaign.

the thing with the verry easy is because i cant take out hundreds of bombers ETC but i CAN survive without a big fuss .....
